Privacy Policy

Kusinita ("Kusinita," "we," "us") is a peer-to-peer marketplace app that connects buyers with home cooks, local food vendors, and small growers. Kusinita is operated by Allan Fuerte. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Google account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account.
Profile information you provide. Such as your display name, contact number, and, for sellers, your store name, general area or pickup point, and contact details for buyers.
Listings and content. Food items, descriptions, prices, delivery fees, and photos that sellers post.
Order information. Details of orders placed through the app, such as the items, quantities, and the buyer and seller involved.
Location. With your permission, your device's location. Kusinita uses your location only to suggest your country and to show food near you. You can deny or turn off location access at any time in your phone's settings and choose your country manually.
Device and usage information. Basic technical data such as device type, app version, and crash or diagnostic information, used to keep the app working.
Advertising ID. If the app shows ads (see Section 4), our advertising partner may collect your device's advertising ID.

2. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and sign you in.
To show listings near you and display prices in your selected country's currency.
To let buyers and sellers find and contact each other to complete orders.
To review listings and keep the marketplace safe, including removing content that breaks our Terms.
To fix problems and improve the app.

3. What other users can see

Kusinita is a marketplace, so some information is shown to other users. Seller profiles, listings, and the contact details sellers choose to provide are visible to other signed-in users so buyers can order and coordinate. Content in the app is not visible to people who are not signed in. When you place an order, the seller receives the order details and the information needed to fulfill it.

4. Advertising

Kusinita may show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID and similar information to show and measure ads. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device's Google settings. Learn more in how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

5. Payments

Kusinita does not process payments. Buyers pay sellers directly (for example, by cash or e-wallet), and any delivery is arranged between the buyer and seller, including through third-party couriers. We do not collect or store your bank, card, or e-wallet details.

6. Service providers

We use Google Firebase (by Google LLC) to provide sign-in, data storage, and hosting. Your information is stored on Google's servers and handled under Google's security practices. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Data security

Information is encrypted in transit between the app and our servers, and access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. See how to delete your account. We will delete your account data within 30 days of a verified request, except where we need to keep limited information to comply with law or resolve disputes.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email info@kusinita.app.

10. Age requirement

Kusinita is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
